On the second day of trial, the Piscitelli Law Firm secured a $3.1 million settlement for a child who was blinded by medical malpractice after a resident provided the family with the wrong follow-up date which caused the child to miss the window of treatment that probably would have saved his eyesight.

His father’s family moved to Cleveland from Italy on May 22, 1958, with a few articles of clothing, some personal items and very little money.
